The Estrada handcycle has seat back rest angle adjustment (adjustment 2) in addition to four fore and aft mounting positions for the seat base (adjustment 3). This allows the seat to be positioned correctly for a wide range of body types.
The crankset is adjustable fore and aft (adjustment 1) as are the footrests (adjustment 4). This allows complete adjustment of the front end of the handcycle for different leg lengths and arm lengths.
The Estrada comes equipped with a powerful front disk brake. The standard brake is mechanical, however it can be upgraded to hydraulic. Check out our component set upgrades section for more on different brake types.
The shifters and brakes for our standard Estrada handcycle are mounted to the crankhandles. This offers on the fly shifting and braking. We also offer frame mounted paddle shifters. This is available as an upgrade option for the Estrada.
The standard crankset for the Estrada is a mountain triple from Shimano 22-34-44
The Intrepid Estrada comes standard with a 21 speed mountain bike drive train and Shimano derailleurs. The handcycle is also available in 27 speed (3×9) or in the latest compact 20 speed (2×10).
